Pepsi Pakistan | Lighting up lives with Liter of light Pakistan!

We saw Pepsi along with Liter of light Pakistan win hearts with their recent CSR campaign. They provided IDP camps with up-cycled Pepsi plastic bottles that were converted to lights powered by solar energy. These lights were installed in houses, hospitals and localities and made a real difference in lives of the people in the Jalozai camp. The installation was documented by the renowned Sharmeen Obaid Chinoy and was launched through an impactful PR event with an inspiring list of people who attended it. The awareness phase left in our hearts new found love for the brand.
The campaign’s phase 2 seems to have launched with a new TVC where the call to action is purchase 1.75L bottle, proceeds from which will be donated to Liter of Light Pakistan. 1 Re from each 1.75L Pepsi plastic bottle is being donated to the cause allowing the nation to be part of ‪#‎LightingUpLives‬, giving the campaign a bigger and deeper meaning.
For a youth brand full of fun along with a positioning of living in the now, the brand’s taken a fresh side towards making a difference. As ground breaking as the innovative solution to over come the lack of electricity for the underprivileged is; the support from the right kind of promotion is making it go beyond all limits.
Iconic youth celebrities like Hamza Ali Abbasi, Sanam Saeed, Syra Yousaf and Azfar Rehman are seen starring in the new TVC along with supporting the cause online. Pepsi digital platforms are amplifying the campaign making their audience a part of it in as many ways as possible. There’s a call to action to buy a Pepsi 1.75L bottle and share a picture of it with a message for #LightingUpLives. It’s a great initiative taken to another level and we’re looking forward to see the final outcome and are motivated to be a part of it.
You can join Pepsi and start #LightingUpLives as well. Watch their Ramzan TVC and find all the details on their Facebook page.
